Thank you Reuben, for the shout out and the kind comments below. This whole Medium money and numbers game is perplexing to people of all sorts of gender identities! As you know, HH writes very specific stories (mostly about me!) and we have built up a solid and loyal following. However, just to put it all out there, we don’t make a lot of money on Medium doing it. Once we made over $100 in a month and then read that that month 8% of writers made over $100. It felt great to be in the “top 8%” but, there are authors out there with much larger followings and many many more claps. We’ve been encouraged by our readers to keep doing what we’re doing and that’s basically what we like doing. That’s really what it’s all about — doing what you like doing and luckily HH likes doing me!
